Open Houses

Why have an open house? It's a good way to get buyers to look at your property. It's also more convenient for the seller to show the property to many people over two days than being available for many appointments on various days at various times.

• Schedule your open house on Sunday and/or Saturday afternoon. Sundays are the preferred open house day. Be sure to do a quick check of the calendar to make sure you don't schedule your open house on the same day as a major sporting event, religious observance, or holiday weekend.

• Prime time to schedule the open house is from 2 pm to 5 pm.
