Rewa is a city located in the north-eastern part of Madhya Pradesh. The district is its administrative headquarters and is 420km towards the northeastern part of Bhopal and 230 km towards the north of Jabalpur. From east to west, it is 125km, and from east to west, it is 96km. Kaimur hills on its south surround the area, and the Vindhyachal ranges pass through the district's centre.
The district has a 235654 population, with 1,11,642 females and 1,24,012 males. This district is home to Madhya Pradesh’s Kol Kol tribe. It is spread over 6240 square kilometres. People here mostly speak Bagheli and Hindi.
