Ramachandra Puram has coordinates of 17.5192° N, 78.3066° E. It is a locality in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is also a part of the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) and also the HMDA (Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority). It was earlier a part of the MEDAK District and is currently within the Sangareddy District. Based on the 2001 Census, the population of the locality stood at 52,586. Telugu is widely spoken in the locality. The area lies along the National Highway 65 and lies in northwestern Hyderabad. There are multiple industrial areas and residential clusters present here as well. The BHEL Township is also present here along with major IT and ITeS hubs.
