Nampally is one of the largest urban centers of Hyderabad, New City, India. It is also a Mandal in the Hyderabad district.[1][2] The biggest landmarks are Ibrahim's House and Hyderabad Deccan Station, locally known as Nampally Station. Nampally derives its name from the Persian Diwan of Hyderabad, Raza Ali Khan, whose title was Nekh-Nam-Khan.[4] He was granted a jagir, Nekh-Nampally, which became 'Nampally.'[5]Nampally railway station was built in 1907 by Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII, the last Nizam of Hyderabad.
