Bharatpur is a leading city in the eastern part of Rajasthan. It is home to the Lohagarh Fort from the 18th century and has the Government Museum inside. Bharatpur lies 180 km away from New Delhi and 178 km away from the State Capital of Jaipur. It is the headquarters for the Bharatpur District and also the Stateās Bharatpur Division.
