Informally called Neredu Mettu, Neredmet is a residential area in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is part of the Medchal-Malkajgiri district's Malkajgiri Mandal and circle. Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, one of the three police commissioners in Hyderabad City, is currently headquartered in Neredmet. Prior to being managed by Malkajgiri Municipality, it was a part of the GHMC-Secunderabad Zone's Malkajgiri Circle. It divides the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation's Ward No. 136, Neredmet (Fully), Ward No. 137, Vinayak Nagar (Fully), Ward No. 138, Moula-Ali (Half), Ward No. 139, East Anandbagh (Partially), and Ward No. 140, Malkajgiri (Half). t was established in 1578 AD, but population growth was fueled by the construction of RK Puram Lake, now known as (Munkidigan Cheruvu).
