I am looking to buy a 2BHK apartment in Vile Parle (East preferred over West). I do not plan to live in that for next 3 to 4 years.
My basic research tells me that a ready to move apartment in an older building would cost between 1.7 to 2.2 Cr.
How should I go about researching under construction apartments.
Are pre-approved projects from banks like ICICI, SBI a good start?
Any specific projects in Vile Parle you would recommend? I saw couple of long dated projects from Kolte-Patil, Navkar builders which start at 1.5 Cr but possession in 2016.
Need some help on on-the-ground reality. I was quoted carpet rates in Vile Parle (both East and West) between 40K to 45K in Dec 2014.
I am getting quotes for similar apartments in the range of 32K to 35K now.
These are under construction or resale in old buildings.
Appreciate any pointers on the rates at which the deals are actually happening. I am hearing there is a significant slowdown in the demand.
