Lodhi Garden
In the centre of Delhi is a large park called Lodhi Gardens. Along with other buildings, it is home to the mausoleums of two Delhi Sultanate emperors, Mohammed Shah and Sikander Lodhi. The garden and its facilities reflect the national capital’s illustrious tryst with history while boasting stunning architecture and exquisite natural beauty.
Lodhi Gardens is a popular tourist destination in Delhi because of its roughly 500-year-old architectural legacy and tranquil, natural surroundings. A massive rubble dome is known as Bara Gumbad. The three-domed mosque, known as Shish Gumbad or Glazed Dome, is housed in the Bara Gumbad complex. Ibrahim Lodi built the tomb covered in blue enamelled tiles.
Coronation Park
In Delhi, India, close to Nirankari Sarovar, lies a park called Coronation Park. The park, also known as the Coronation Memorial, hosted the Delhi Durbar in 1877, where Queen Victoria was formally recognised as the Empress of India. The vast open space at Coronation Park in Delhi was chosen as the location for the Coronation Durbars to highlight Delhi’s historical significance as the former capital of the Mughal Empire.
At Delhi’s Coronation Park, sculptures of British kings and government leaders serve as reminders of the country’s colonial heritage. There are statues of King Edward V, many rulers and governors-general, including Lord Hardinge, Lord Willingdon, Lord Irwin, and Lord Chelmsford, in addition to the 21-metre-tall sandstone obelisk honouring King George V.
The statues of British rulers and kings rest in the 52-acre park. The Coronation Pillar, a soaring obelisk in New Delhi’s Coronation Park on Burari Road next to Nirankari Sarovar, is visible from a distance.

Located in Old Delhi in the UT of Delhi, India, Kashmere Gate or Kashmiri Gate is a gate. It is the entrance to Old Delhi’s ancient walled city from the north. The gate was named because it stood at the beginning of a road that led to Kashmir and was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
As the Red Fort, ISBT, and Delhi Junction railway station are close by, it is now the name of the neighbourhood in North Delhi, in the Old Delhi district, and a significant traffic junction. The Archaeological Survey of India operates a library built by the Mughal prince Dara Shikoh near Kashmere Gate, an archaeological museum.

A network of palaces and entertainment rooms, projecting balconies, spas and internal waterways, geometrical gardens, and an elaborate mosque are all enclosed within the fort’s enormous red sandstone walls, which are 75 feet high.
The Hall of Public Audience (Diwan-i-Am) has 60 red sandstone pillars which support a flat roof, and the smaller Hall of Private Audience (Diwan-i-Khas), which has a pavilion of white marble, are two of the most well-known buildings in the complex.
