Warangal Airport, also known as Mamnoor Airport, is in Warangal, Telangana. The airport was built in 1930 and was used for commercial flights until 1994. The airport was then used for military purposes until 2014. In 2023, the State cabinet of Telangana approved a proposal to acquire and allocate the last section of land required for the airport’s revival. The Centre is also considering the construction of two brownfield airports in Warangal and Adilabad, as well as one greenfield airport in Jakranpally.
