Rajasthan Rera: Standard fee to be levied along with project registration fee

Starting August 1, 2023, the Rajasthan Rera will charge a standard fee along with project registration fee all for plotted development projects that may be both housing and commercial. However, this charge is not applicable for  multi-storey group housing projects.

As per the circular issued by Rajasthan Rera, Rs 5 per square metre (psm) will be charged as standard fees for residential plots along with the project registration fees. Rera Rajasthan will charge Rs 10 psm as standard fees for commercial, industrial and mixed use plots in addition to the project registration fees.

Submission of APR/QPR/CC/OC to RERA Rajasthan

As per the mandate under RERA Act, developers have to submit the APR/ QPR/CC/OC with RERA Rajasthan under the stipulated time. The Rajasthan RERA has however extended deadline till Oct 31, 2025 for developers to submit these documents. 

What is the maximum penalty for non-compliance with RERA Rajasthan regulations?

If a real estate promoter fails to comply with RERA Rajasthan regulations, a penalty of up to 10% of the estimated cost of the project may be levied upon them. If the violation continues, the promoter may face a jail term of up to three years or a further penalty of up to 10% of the estimated cost of the project, or both.
