All you need to know about Sevana Pension scheme 2022

Various types of individuals will get financial help under the Sevana Pension Scheme 2022, introduced by the Kerala government. The system provides pensions to agricultural employees, senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, unmarried women over 50, and those who have lost their spouses. Kerala’s social welfare and labour departments provide Sevana Pensions to their respective citizens.

The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme provides a pension to elderly persons who do not have access to other sources of financial assistance, such as their families. It is no longer necessary for the elderly citizens of the state to rely on others for their daily necessities because of the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme. Previously, the Social Welfare Department was in charge of the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, but now that role has been given to the local government authorities.

Applications for pensions must be submitted to municipalities and corporations; they are also responsible for evaluating and approving applications. The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme offers widow pension, disability pension, and old-age pension. The district collector must also sign off on the pension plan to go into effect. The central government is responsible for supporting this pension plan.

Disabled residents of Kerala are eligible for the Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension. Pensions like this one are available to those who don’t have other sources of income. Because of this pension plan, disabled persons may live a dignified life and become financially self-sufficient. The candidate must have a handicap of at least 40% to benefit from this programme. Local government gram Panchayats and municipalities are now responsible for accepting applications, reviewing applications, and approving the pension amount for the Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme recipients.

Many women in the region who have reached the age of 50 but have not yet married. Neither of these women receives any financial help from anybody else. The Kerala Government is offering a pension of Rs 1500 to each of these ladies to meet their basic living expenses. Women will be able to become self-sufficient with the support of this pension system. The state government is responsible for funding this pension plan. It should be emphasised that income taxpayers are not eligible for this scheme. It is the obligation of the state authority to guarantee that the pension money is delivered to the recipient on a regular and at a reasonable interval of time.

The Indira Gandhi National widow pension plan provides financial assistance to widowed women who do not have any other source of income. The Indira Gandhi National widow pension system was established to help widows deal with financial difficulties. According to the updated regulations, the social welfare department formerly controlled this pension programme, but it has now been moved to the local government. The local authority is in charge of receiving the application, evaluating it, and finally approving the monthly pension into the bank accounts of those who qualify for it.
