August 2024: Ashiana Housing Limited has partnered with Arihant Foundations & Housing to launch a senior living project, Swarang, in Chennai. The total investment is around Rs 225 crore and sales realisation is estimated to be Rs 450 crore. The project is spread over an area of 10.87 acre in the Nemmeli area, located on East Coast Road (ECR).
According to the developer, the project is designed as a low-rise, low-density project. It is expected to be completed in phases, with the first phase scheduled for completion by September 2027, as per RERA regulations. The phase 1 will include 134 units. The homes are designed by reputed architects. The landscape architecture for Swarang has been done by Savita Punde. The project includes safety features such as rounded corners, diffused lighting and discreet handrails. There is also an app-based gate management system and an Emergency Response System. Further, the project offers sports facilities such as walking football, pickleball, tennikoit, croquet and aqua therapy.
The development will offer 1 BHK, 2 BHK, and 3 BHK housing options, ranging from 912 to 1462 square foot (sqft) and luxurious penthouses. The price range for these housing units ranges from Rs 84 lacs to Rs 1.009 crore for 1 BHK, Rs 1.22 crore to Rs 1.46 Cr for 2 BHK, Rs 1.55 cr to 1.75 cr for 3 BHK and Rs 2.08 Cr for 2 BHK penthouses.
