Bhubaneswar Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is exclusively for handling domestic flights and was inaugurated in March 2013. It is spread over 18,240 square metres and can hold 400 persons for arrival and 400 persons for departure for domestic flights. Terminal 2, on the other hand, handles international operations and can take 200 persons for arrival and 200 persons for departure. The new Terminal 2 was renovated to begin full-fledged global operations with proposed expansion plans.
