DDA’s Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme Phase 2 booking to open on Nov 14

The flats are available under different categories, including over 250 LIG flats in Rohini Sector 34 and 35, priced between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 15.5 lakh.

November 5, 2024: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched phase 2 of its Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme and the bookings for the newly constructed flats will open on November 14, 2024. Over 2,500 flats are available across various locations in Delhi, including Rohini, Dwarka, Mangolpuri, Ramgarh, Loknayak Puram, Siraspur, Narela and other areas.

The DDA launched the Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme Phase 1, offering affordable homes catering to the housing needs of the lower-income groups (LIG) and economically weaker sections (EWS). Around 34,000 flats for the EWS and LIG categories will be offered at a price starting at around Rs 11.5 lakh under this scheme. The registration process is already open. The allotment of flats will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

The flats are available under different categories, including over 250 LIG flats in Rohini Sector 34 and 35, priced between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 15.5 lakh. Around 180 EWS flats will also be available in Mangolpuri, priced at Rs 32-35 lakh. As many as 1,800 EWS flats are also on offer in Narela’s Sector A1-A4 (Pocket 1A, 1B and 1C) at Rs 18-20 lakh. The remaining flats are located in Narela, Siraspur, Loknayakpuram and other locations.

The scheme is in addition to the ongoing sale of the remaining flats from the 9,000 offered under Phase 1 launched in August 2024. Under Phase 1, around 1,650 flats across various categories in Jasola, Narela, Rohini, Loknayakpuram, Ramgarh and Siraspur were sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis by the end of September.

As per media reports, around 1,660 flats have been sold under the Dwarka Housing Scheme. A total of 169 flats in the penthouse, HIG, super HIG, and MIG categories were offered through e-auction. These flats were located across sectors 14, 16B and 19B. Over 130 of these have been sold. As per officials, over 1,200 LIG and 440 EWS flats have been sold under the affordable housing and middle-class schemes. A total of 708 LIG flats in Rohini have been booked, while around 250 flats have been sold in Narela, as mentioned in media reports.
