The 845 km Delhi- Vadodara Expressway is an eight-lane access controlled expressway. This is part of the 1,350 km Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Going forward, the expressway can be expanded to become 12 lanes.

Delhi-Vadodara Expressway: Details
With the Delhi-Vadodara Expressway operational, the distance between Delhi and Vadodara which was around 1,000 km earlier has been reduced to 845 km now. The Delhi-Vadodara Expressway passes through the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana. Also, as part of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, the Sohna-Dausa portion is already operational.

Delhi-Vadodara Expressway: Time taken to travel
With the Delhi-Vadodara Expressway, the travel time has been reduced from 18-20 hours to 10 hours now. Because of this development, the road travel from Delhi to Vadodara is faster than the train travel.
States covered by the Delhi-Vadodara Expressway
- The expressway covers 79 km in Haryana. It starts from the Sohna–Gurgaon road (Alipur Village) and exits Haryana from Kolgaon Village (Nuh District).
- The expressway covers 373 km in Rajasthan. It starts from the Munpur Karmala Village (Alwar District) and exits Rajasthan from Moondiya Village (Kota District).
- The expressway covers 244 km in Madhya Pradesh. It starts from the Munpur Karmala Village (Alwar District) and exits Rajasthan by crossing Anas River at Dhebar Village (Jhabua).
- The expressway covers 149 km in Gujarat. It starts from the Chhayan village (Dahod District) and exits Gujarat from NE-1 Ahmedabad interchange at Dodka Village (Vadodara District).
