The Dhaula Kuan metro station is a part of Delhi Metro’s Airport Express Line (Orange Line). It is the only elevated station on this line. The metro station was opened on August 15, 2011. Under Phase III of the Delhi Metro development, the Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station was constructed as a part of the Pink Line and connected to the Dhaula Kuan metro station via a 1.2-km skywalk. It features 22 travelators to ensure a hassle-free commute.
