Green Line Metro in Chennai comes under Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), which is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu. Green Line, also known as Line Two of Chennai Metro, comes under the Phase One project. It covers 17 stations, out of which nine stations are underground and eight are elevated.
