A step-by-step guide to help you make textured art
Materials required
- Measuring tape
- Saw
- Canvas frame and fabric
- Staple gun and wood glue

Procedure
Prepare the canvas
Canvases of different shapes and sizes are available in the market, but if you are opting for a DIY canvas, follow the below-mentioned steps.
- Use a measuring tape to mark the wooden blocks to the desired measurements, cut the pieces using a saw and put them together to create a frame. Make sure that the corners are aligned properly. Use wood glue and glue the ends of the block together or use a staple gun.
- Now, place the canvas fabric on top of the frame, positioning it in the middle. Fold the ends of the cloth and start stapling it in each corner. You can use clamps to clip the sides to ensure that the fabric is tight and even. Rather than going for the adjacent side, staple the opposite side first.
