Indane gas composite cylinder refill price
Composite cylinder refers to a three-layer cylinder comprising of a blow-moulded HDPE inner liner, covered with a composite layer of polymer-wrapped fibres glass and fitted with a HDPE outer jacket. The Indane gas composite cylinder is available in major cities in 5 kg sand 10 kg size. Indane gas launched the composite cylinder of LPG in 2021. The refill price of 14 kg composite cylinder remains the same as in respective cities. However, the security deposit for 10 kg and 5 kg cylinder is Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,200, respectively.

The Goods and Services Tax (GST), an indirect taxation system introduced on July 1, 2017, has increased the price of domestic LPG cylinders. GST charges are applicable on all domestic gas cylinders. The GST has eliminated other taxes that were imposed earlier, such as excise duty, surcharges, and service taxes.
As per the new GST rule, taxes are levied at the rate of 0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, and 28% GST. Domestic LPG cylinders are charged at the rate of 5% GST. Hence, this has a direct impact on the cost of cooking gas in India.

- Furnish a letter to the existing gas distributor, requesting for the transfer. Submit the gas regulator and gas connection voucher and the transfer letter. Surrender your existing cylinder and safety regulator, in case you are moving to another city.
- You will get a refund of the deposit amount as specified in the Subscription Voucher (SV).
- The existing gas distributor will provide the gas transfer voucher.
- Submit a valid address proof along with identity proof and the gas transfer voucher to the new gas agency to get the Indane gas new connection.
- Pay the necessary transfer charges, which may vary from one agency to another.
