Sachin Tendulkar’s home is also a marvel in every sense. Tendulkar and his wife own two real estate properties at prominent locations.
One of them is at Perry Cross Road in Bandra west, where the couple moved in 2011. This is a spacious villa of over 6,000 sqft, which was redeveloped on a plot that earlier housed a dilapidated bungalow, purchased for Rs 39 crore in 2007.
The cricketer bought another property for his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, in Rustomjee Seasons at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) for Rs 7.5 crore, which is a 1,600-sq ft apartment and has all modern-day luxury amenities that one can hope for.

About Sachin Tendulkar’s Perry Road residence
- The bungalow on Perry Road is at a prime location in Mumbai’s suburbs and overlooks the Arabian Sea. The locality is home to many other film stars and celebrities. This is also the one of the most expensive locations in Mumbai’s suburbs due to its proximity to the sea.
- Tendulkar has taken an insurance cover of Rs 100 crore for the house. It includes a fire insurance policy of Rs 75 crore and an additional cover of Rs 25 crore for the interiors. The policy also covers damages due to terrorism activities, act-of-God peril (like earthquake), bomb blast and burglary. Items such as cost of the bungalow land, compound walls, electrical equipment, security installations and water reservoir, are covered under the insurance.
- It is a three-storeyed mansion and has two basements, which can accommodate 40-50 cars at a time. The upper basement has a secondary kitchen, servant quarters and a master surveillance area for security purposes.
- The house has a high-walled fence that restricts the view from outside. The ground floor has a temple, where Tendulkar’s mother spends most of her time.
- The kitchen, as you can see in the video, has a very simplistic interior. A modern cooktop with granite countertop makes the kitchen look sleek and elegant.

- Sachin Tendulkar seems to have a favourite corner in his home, where he records most of his Instagram videos. He is often seen relaxing in the garden area during his free time.

On May 5, Sachin Tendulkar’s Perry Road house came into limelight when a neighbour took to social media to complain about the renovation being carried in the house.

Anjali Tendulkar buys a small apartment in Virar
Anjali Tendulkar bought a 391 sqft apartment in Peninsula Heights Virar for Rs 32 lakh, mentioned documents accessed by Zapkey.com. As per Zapkey.com, the property located on the third floor of the building was registered on May 30, 2025. A stamp duty of Rs 1.92 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 were paid for this deal, mentioned Zapkey.com. Note that Anjali Tendulkar, being a female homebuyer, got a rebate of 1% in stamp duty charges in Maharashtra. Media reports suggest that this apartment will be used by a staff of Anjali Tendulkar.
