The Kemmannu Hanging Bridge is located in Udipi, Karnataka. It was built to connect Padu Kudru and Thimmanna Kudru of the Swarna River. Also known as the Thimmanna Kudru Hanging Bridge, it is a 280-foot long suspension bridge built by 2 and 4 Karnataka Engineering Company Cadets during their annual training camp from 16 January 1991 to 27 January 1991. The bridge is 7.5 km from Delta Beach and is located in Thonse village. The hanging bridge is around 100 m wide and can handle two-wheelers. The bridge can manage around eight people at a given time.

Kemmannu Hanging Bridge: Activities
Adventure activities, like boating and kayaking, are available on the Swarna River. Charges for kayaking are Rs 200 per person (approx.) for an hour. This may change per the vendor.

Thonse village is around 8 km from Udupi. Take a bus from Udupi to Kemmannu. From there walk it to the bridge. Taxies are also available to reach the bridge.
