First Come First Serve housing units price reduced
The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board has announced a reduction in the sale prices of 6,248 flats located at Mouje Shirgaon and Mouje Khoni in Kalyan taluka of Thane district, under the ‘First Come, First Served’ scheme for the EWS category under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
As per this approval, the sale price of 5,236 flats under the EWS category at Mouje Shirgaon in Thane district, part of the Konkan Board’s “First Come, First Serve” scheme for October 2024, has been reduced by Rs 1,43,404 per flat. The revised sale price of each flat will now be Rs 19,28,742. While, the sale price of 1,012 flats at Khoni (Tal. Kalyan) has been reduced by Rs 1,01,800 per dwelling unit, bringing the new sale price per flat to Rs 19,11,700.
This reduction in pricing will make home ownership more affordable for citizens from the economically weaker sections and is an important step towards inclusive urban development.
