Mhada Konkan Lottery 2025 to give 5,285 flats, 77 plots 

The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board has announced a lottery for the sale of 5,285 residential flats under various housing schemes in Thane city and district and Vasai, Palghar district, along with 77 plots located in Oros, Sindhudurg district and Kulgaon-Badlapur.

The registration and application process for the lottery will commence with a Go-Live event on July 14, 2025 at 1 PM.  Online applications can be submitted until 11:59 PM on August 13, 2025. The earnest money deposit (EMD) payment can be completed online until 11:59 PM on August 14, 2025. Applications that are complete in all respects and supported by required documents will be considered eligible.

The provisional list of eligible applications will be published on August 21, 2025, at 6 PM on Mhada’s official website: https://housing.mhada.gov.in. Applicants may raise claims or objections regarding the provisional list until August 25, 2025, 6 PM. The final list of eligible applicants will be published on September 1, 2025, at 6 PM on the same website.

The computerised draw will be conducted for eligible applications on September 3, 2025, at 10AM at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium, Thane. Applicants will receive lottery results via SMS, email, and the mobile application.

According to a FPJ report, the MHADA Konkan Board has received over 26,968 applications for the Mhada lottery. Out of these 11,921 applicants have already paid the earnest money deposit (EMD).

The application process is conducted through the IHLMS 2.0 digital platform. Applicants may download the official Mhada Lottery App compatible with both Android and iOS platforms. Application registration is also available at https://housing.mhada.gov.in. For applicant support, guidance documents, videos, help files, and a dedicated help site have been provided on the same platform. Konkan Board chief officer Revati Gaikar has advised all applicants to refer to these materials before applying.

For assistance during the application process, applicants may contact the helpline number 022-69468100. Gaikar further stated that the new computerised lottery system is entirely online and transparent, with no scope for human interference. The Board has not appointed any representative, advisor or property agent for this sale process. Applicants are therefore advised not to respond to any third-party offers or intermediaries. Note that Mhada or the Konkan Board will not be responsible for any fraudulent dealings. Participation must be made only through the official Mhada website.

First Come First Serve housing units price reduced

The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a regional board under Mhada, has reduced the sale prices of 6,248 houses located at Village Shirgaon and Village Khoni in Taluka Kalyan, District Thane. These houses, made available under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) for the Economically Weaker Section, are offered on a First Come, First Serve basis.

Under the First Come, First Serve scheme of October 2024, the price of 5,236 houses has been reduced by Rs 1,43,404 for each house. The new price of each house is now Rs 19,28,742.

Likewise, under the same scheme of October 2024, the price of 1,012 houses at Village Khoni has been reduced by Rs 1,01,800 for each house. The revised sale price for each of these houses is now Rs 19,11,700.

Step 1: Mhada lottery registration

• Visit Mhada Konkan platform and click on ‘register’ after which you will be redirected to a user form.
• Select a user name, choose a password and save it for future purpose. Submit the form, after filling in all the information. Verify your mobile number, which will be used for future communication purpose.

• You will be redirected to another form where you need to mention your monthly income, bank account details and applicant’s photo to apply for the Mhada Konkan Lottery.
