PMS scholarship: How can a dependent child of the armed or police force take advantage of this scholarship

The Prime Minister scholarship is mainly a scheme to aid with the education of the kids belonging to backward groups and belonging to the Dependent Wards and Widows of Central Armed Police officials and Assam Rifles and State Police Personnel.

PMS scholarship: Selection criteria

For consideration for the PM scholarship, the candidate must adhere to the following requirements:

Category A: Priority is given to the wards and widows of combat-dead CAPF and AR soldiers.

Category B: Second preference is given to children of former CAPF and AR members who were disabled while serving.

Category C: The third preference is given to the children and widows of deceased CAPF and AR employees who died in the line of duty as a result of circumstances related to their employment with the government.

Category D: The dependents of former CAPF and AR personnel who become disabled while serving and whose disability can be linked to their job with the government are accorded the following consideration.

Category E: Additionally, preference is given to the children of former CAPF members and AR troops who have been awarded honours for bravery under this category

Category F: Wards of former CAPF and AR troops are given precedence under this category. (PBOR only).

Category G: Last but not least, if there are still open spots for scholarships, wards of active-duty CAPF and AR personnel (PBOR) will be given preference.

 

PMS scholarship: Procedure for applying for the scholarship

To apply for the scholarship, we must follow the straightforward application instructions provided below:

  1. Your screen will show the New Registration Instructions option. Click on it.
  2. Carefully read each and every instruction.
  3. Select the choice marked Continue.
  4. On your screen, the registration form will appear.
  5. Registering is free.
  6. Type the OTP required.
  7. You’ll get a message with your user ID and password.
  8. Make use of your login information.
  9. You may now submit a scholarship application with success.
  10. Complete the application.
  11. Upload the documents online.
  12. Select “Submit”.
