The peaceful and calm abode of late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar

Popular Kannada movie star, Puneeth Rajkumar, died on October 29, 2021, after suffering a cardiac arrest. The 46-year-old star was rushed to Vikram hospital in east Bengaluru after complaining of chest pain while working out in a gym. He was the son of Kannada cinema legend, Dr. Rajkumar.  A National Film Award winner for best child artist, he was an actor, anchor, producer and playback singer. He was also the founder and owner of PRK Audio.

In an interview, Rajkumar had revealed that as he was very busy planning every piece for his home, he, therefore, asked Godrej Interio to help him. According to his requirements, all the design elements and the choice of place was decided. Rajkumar and his wife Ashwini and two daughters Drithi and Vanditha, shifted to their new house in Sadashiva Nagara, Armane Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is a posh neighbourhood in Bengaluru surrounded by plush houses and mansions. It is home to several celebrities, politicians and industrialists.

Puneeth’s actor-friend Vishal to take over his philanthropic works

Puneeth Rajkumar, who died of cardiac arrest on October 29, 2021, had also been involved in philanthropic works. As per media reports, the social works will now be taken forward by his friend and Tamil actor, Vishal. Actor Vishal said that he will continue to work for the welfare of the 1800 orphans who were adopted by the late Kannada actor. He also added that he is willing to sacrifice his own property for Puneeth’s dream.

Puneeth Rajkumar had also been the early campaigner for eye donation. The actor’s eyes were donated after his death. He is the 3rd member in his family to do so after his father, Dr Rajkumar, in 2006 and mother Parvathamma in 2017.
