The ServicePlus portal aims to make government services accessible to the common man in his locality.

The ServicePlus portal is an innovative initiative that brings the benefits of various services and government schemes directly to citizens of the country. More than 2,400 services have been launched and more than 33 states have been covered on this online portal. It has been designed as a single, one-stop destination for all citizens, to access information on all socio-economic development programmes and facilities being provided by the central and state governments. The portal can be accessed at https://serviceonline.gov.in/.

ServicePlus is a multi-tenant integrated platform for providing residents with electronic services. It has been developed as part of Panchayat Enterprise Suite (PES) under the e panchayat Mission Mode Project (MMP). Interested citizens of the country who wish to take advantage of all of the government’s facilities and plans can easily register online on this web portal. You will have to create a user ID and password before you can utilise the services on it.

 

What is Service Plus Odisha?

The Service Plus Odisha is an online portal developed by the National Informatics Centre and implemented by the Government of Odisha, which provides various government services to citizens.

The central and state governments started the ServicePlus portal, to minimise the need for people to go to government offices to get the benefits of government schemes and services. Through the internet, residents can take advantage of all the services being provided, based on their state. This will save time.

The following are the categories of government services offered through ServicePlus:

  • Regulatory Services: These include business licences and building permits, among others.
  • Statutory services: Includes birth/death certificates, income certificates, etc.
  • Developmental services: Government-provided services or schemes for the benefit of citizens, such as NREGA, IAY and old-age pensions.
  • Consumer utilities service: includes services such as bill paying and others.

  • Select the login option visible above on the main page. If you are a new user, the login form will open in front of you when you click on the option.

  • If you do not have an account, select the ‘Register Here’ option.

  • The registration form will appear after you click on the choice. You must fill out the registration form with the requested information, including your phone number, email address, password, state and captcha code.

  • Click the validate option. Your registration will be completed after this.

How to access the Service Plus Online portal?

  • Visit the official portal at https://serviceonline.gov.in/
  • Click on the Login option given on the top right corner
  • On the next page, enter the login ID and password.
  • Submit the Captcha for verification and click on the Login button.

  • Visit the official website. The home page will appear.
  • Select the ‘Track Application Status’ option. A new page will open.

  1. Through application reference number
  2. Through OTP/Application details
  • Enter the captcha code and submit. Following that, you will be able to view the status of your application.
