UK-based SRAM & MRAM Group will be developing the tallest skyscraper in India in Mumbai, reported the Economic Times. To be developed as a multi-use building with 110 floors, the tower will be constructed in the Parel Sewri area. Architect Venkat Pillai of Venkat Pillai Design Studio will be designing the project.
The skyscraper will include offices, shops, a mall, a 50-key hotel, a 50-bed specialty hospital, and serviced apartments. I will also house other luxurious amenities, including a gymnasium, heated swimming pools, a recreation centre, a 50-seater movie theatre and a banquet hall, according to the company.
“This will not be just an accolade to our work that we have done so far but personal victories of our different teams and founding members who envisioned the group to reach to this pinnacle of success of giving a country first of its kind structure. We are excited would be an understatement to say,” said Raghav Kapur., group director, SRAM & MRAM.
“Giving cities and countries a flavour of something new is what we aspire for, always. We are looking forward to giving life to the country’s tallest building,” said SRAM & MRAM Group vice-chairman Gurujee Kumaran Swami.
