Tulip Garden Srinagar: How to reach?
By air: The Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport is the closest airport to Srinagar, which has connectivity to cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata. Depending on traffic, the trip takes 30 to 40 minutes from the airport to the garden, located around 15 km.
By rail: The Jammu Tawi Railway Station is the closest railway hub to Srinagar. The trip from Jammu to Srinagar takes about seven to eight hours by car.
By road: Major cities in India are easily accessible by road from Srinagar. The trip from Srinagar to Jammu on the National Highway 1 (NH-1) takes about seven to eight hours. The Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) runs bus services between Jammu and Srinagar. There are also shared and private taxis available for hire.

The Tulip Garden was established in 2007 was created to promote valley tourism and showcase Kashmir’s natural beauty to the world. The garden overlooks the Dal Lake and is situated at the base of the Zabarwan Mountains.
