Vastu remedies for south-west toilet and bathroom

Designing a house in a Vastu-compliant manner ensures the flow of positive energies and brings prosperity to a house. Most people pay attention to the main areas, such as the living room, bedroom, and kitchen, but neglect the toilet and bathroom areas. Nowadays, bathrooms are designed to be functional and aesthetically pleasing, as these areas serve the purposes of self-care and relaxation.

In modern apartments, attached bathrooms are a prominent feature. According to Vastu Shastra, the placement of bathrooms and toilets in a house in the right direction is crucial. These areas are source of negative energies and placing them in the wrong direction can bring negative effects such as stress, health problems, and financial losses. For example, a south-west toilet is a Vastu defect.

Why should you construct a bathroom as per Vastu?

A Vastu-compliant bathroom ensures the flow of positive energy in houses. According to Vastu, each area of the house denotes an element. For example, the south-east direction represents the fire or Agni element. This is the ideal direction for a kitchen. Similarly, the north-east direction represents the water element. Hence, it is most suited for designing a bathroom.
