Dozers, a type of heavy machinery also known as a crawler or a bulldozer, are frequently employed in large-scale mining and construction projects. Dozers are strong demolition and pushing machines equipped with a cutting tool on the front and a scrapper on the back.

They are primarily employed in excavation, digging, levelling, and earthmoving tasks, including the transportation of sizable loads of weighty components like snow, rock, sand, and dirt. Bulldozers aren’t as effective at handling materials as other machinery like powerslide steers, backhoes, wheel loaders, or even excavators because their front end has a blade rather than a bucket.

Bulldozers can easily navigate rough terrain because of their heavy metal tracks. S-blades and U-blades

S-U-blades

These are excellent for heavier materials even though they are less curved than U-blades and have relatively small wings. The S-U-blade is the one that is most frequently used.

Angle blades

These are ideal for granular materials like frost or gravel because they enable the blade to force materials at angles up to 30 degrees.

Power-Angle-Tilt blades

Also known as PAT blades, these offer the greatest versatility as a result of their ability to tilt, curve, and lift in all directions. PAT blades are employed in projects involving backfilling, levelling, clearing land, spreading, scraping, and grading.
