Where to complaint if PM Kisan money is not received?

Was the 13th instalment of the PM Kisan scheme not credited into your account? There are many remedies available to farmers in India who have not received the Rs 2,000 subsidy amount in their accounts so far, Union minister of agriculture and farmers welfare Narendra Singh Tomar told the Lok Sabha in a written reply on March 14, 2023.

“Many remedies are available to the farmers who have not been able to register themselves for benefit under the PM Kisan scheme or who have been registered but not received benefits,” he said, adding the benefits of the scheme are released after receipt of data from states/UT governments and due verification of the same.

What to do if you have not received the latest PM Kisan instalment?

Talk to the nodal officer

According to the official release, state governments have appointed nodal officers for the scheme at block, district and state levels. Farmers can submit their grievances with them. Normally, district agriculture officers or district collectors are available to attend to their grievances.

Visit PM Kisan portal

Farmers can also lodge their complaint on the PM Kisan portal for prompt redressal.  On the portal, click on the Help Desk option under the Farmers Corner section. This way, the grievance of the farmer is directly transferred to the nodal officer concerned.

Write to agriculture department

Farmers can also register their complaint through the public grievance portal or send their grievance directly to the department of agriculture and farmers welfare.

Call on toll free number

Farmers can check their beneficiary status through a 24×7 interactive voice response system-based helpline 155261.

PM Kisan eligibility check

Benefits under the PM Kisan scheme are transferred to the eligible beneficiaries through a direct benefit transfer mode after validation of the uploaded data.

This includes:

  1. Aadhaar authentication
  2. Validation of bank account and government employees’/pensioners data by the Public Finance Management System
  3. Validation of accounts by the National Payment Corporation of India for Aadhaar-based payments, and
  4. Validation of income tax payee status by the income tax department

Eligible farmers are being enrolled and deceased/ineligible beneficiaries are being removed from the PM Kisan beneficiary list by way of continuous verification and validation of the beneficiary’s data by states, the ministry said.
