March 29, 2024: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) plans to establish five industrial parks in the vicinity of the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. Yeida will acquire approximately 600 acre of land for this purpose. These industrial parks will be situated in Yeida Sector 10, along the Yamuna Expressway, connecting Greater Noida with the historic cities of Mathura and Agra.
The five industrial parks near Noida International Airport will encompass an electric vehicle park, plastic processing park, footwear park, handicrafts park, and a transport hub. Sector 10 has been designated for the development of industrial parks, serving as an exclusive industrial hub near Jewar or Noida International Airport.
The development of these industrial parks in Sector 10 will require nearly 600 acres of agricultural land. The Uttar Pradesh state government has instructed the Gautam Budh Nagar administration to initiate the land acquisition process. The administration is also educating the public not to buy or sell land earmarked for acquisition without the district magistrate’s permission. Once all formalities are completed in accordance with regulations, the distribution of land compensation will commence, followed by the land acquisition. The acquired land will be handed over to the Authority for the specified purpose.
