As of 2011 census, its population was 3,951,862. Its coordinates are 25°55′N 84°45′E. The languages spoken in this district are Bhojpuri, Hindi, and Urdu. Aami, Gautam Asthan, Silhauri, Dhorth Ashram, Chirand, and Hasanpura are just a few of the historical, spiritual, and archaeological sites that visitors may discover and enjoy thanks to Saran tourism.
