Additionally, numerous new projects are nearing completion in and around the area, further contributing to its growth potential.

Things need improvement

The area is densely populated, with a significant number of flats concentrated within a small space. Nikoo 1 houses over 2000 families, while Nikoo 2 accommodates more than 3000 families. Additionally, Nikoo 4 hosts approximately 1200 families. This high density of residents raises concerns about potential overcrowding and strains on resources and amenities in the vicinity.

The rent in this society is exorbitant, making it difficult for common people to afford living here for more than a week. Additionally, there seems to be inadequate information about the swimming pool. While the metro facility is available, the cost of food is also notably high.

Plus, having local grocery shops like Lulu nearby adds to the convenience of getting essential products.

The main road of Thanisandra is somewhat damaged, which can be quite irritating when traveling at night. However, all other roads leading to Nike Homes are in perfect condition, except for the Thanisandra main road. Additionally, there is an issue with the network signal not working properly on the 14th floor of the 8th tower. Other than these issues, everything else about the society is good.

And if you're into movies or shows, there's even a mini theater. Parking is never an issue, with ample space for both residents and visitors. Plus, there's a shopping complex on-site, along with hotels, restaurants, and other conveniences nearby. With hospitals and schools in the vicinity, everything you need is right at your doorstep. And rest assured, the construction quality is top-notch, prioritizing safety at every step.

The only downside is that the society is a bit on the outskirts of Bengaluru, but being closer to the airport is definitely a plus. However, because it's on the outskirts, public transport options are practically nonexistent, and finding cabs can be a challenge. So, you'll mostly rely on private vehicles to get around. The maintenance costs are a bit higher due to the abundance of amenities, and unfortunately, there's no metro available at the moment.

However, we've noticed that the construction quality is a bit poor. Living on the 25th floor of Tower 7 offers a superb view, which is definitely a plus. Having an Easyday shop for daily needs and Chef Bakers for snacks is convenient. Our 2 BHK house comes with a monthly rental of 20,300, including maintenance, and we paid 1 lakh as an advance. Overall, it's been a positive experience so far.

This gated society is truly lovely, surrounded by lush greenery and featuring several parks and walking tracks. Ample parking space is available, and the list of amenities seems endless. Everything you could think of is present within the premises, including a fully equipped clubhouse with numerous indoor games. Outdoor sports facilities abound, with tennis courts, cricket and football fields, basketball courts, and even a squash court available. The society is under constant CCTV surveillance for added security. Additionally, there's a decent-sized private theater within the premises for enjoying movies and shows on the big screen. Overall, this society is well-maintained, green, and clean, providing a delightful living experience.

Things need improvement

The main issue I find is that the society is a bit far from the main Bangalore City, but it's closer to the Bangalore airport. Public transport is nearly unavailable, although cabs are easily accessible. Unfortunately, there are no metro services in the nearby areas as of now. Additionally, the maintenance costs are a bit high. While fire alarm systems and sprinklers are present inside the houses, the exposed pipes can be aesthetically disadvantageous. You would need to plan your interiors accordingly to accommodate them.

Our priority is the green and lush parks for kids and their play areas, as we have children in our family who thrive in such environments. Additionally, the reliable and speedy lift service is commendable, as it is always well-maintained and trouble-free. The gym is consistently clean, and the spacious and secure parking area adds to the convenience. The society is well-connected with many roads leading to various nearby areas. Moreover, having local grocery shops like Lulu nearby is incredibly convenient for us to access the required products.

Things need improvement

The main road of Thanisandra is somewhat damaged, which can be quite irritating, especially when traveling at night. However, all the other roads leading to Niko Homes are in perfect condition. Another issue is the unreliable network signal, particularly on the 14th floor of the 8th tower. Despite these challenges, everything else about the society is good.

It's pet-friendly and provides a very safe environment for residents. The amenities are top-notch and surpass expectations. Additionally, its proximity to the airport is convenient, and ample space with abundant greenery adds to its charm.

Additionally, some app-based services like Dunzo and Rapido are not available in this area. Moreover, the basement parking spaces aren't the most comfortable.

Niko Homes is truly one of the best societies around. Kids have a blast with the wonderful entertainment options in the parks, and the maintenance is spot-on. The convenience of grocery shopping within the society is a huge plus, with reasonable prices to boot. I personally love the well-equipped gym, which is meticulously maintained with antibacterial sprays. My kid has a great time in the swimming pool, thanks to the dedicated coaches. Plus, the prompt and efficient lift service across all the towers adds to the convenience.

Things need improvement

The only issue I encounter is occasional power cuts, happening about two or three times a day. However, the power backup system is excellent, so it's not a major inconvenience. Another challenge is the poor mobile network reception on the 15th floor. Aside from these minor setbacks, everything else is really fine.

The society has several drawbacks including high maintenance fees, a complicated parking structure, and poor connectivity with public transport as there is no nearby metro station or bus stop. Additionally, it's far from the city center and the roads nearby are in poor condition. Residents often face frequent electricity issues and poor power backup, as well as occasional plumbing problems. The corridors are cramped, and due to the large number of apartments and residents, conflicts are frequent.

During my nearly 2-year stay at Nikoo 1, I observed several positive aspects: 1. The campus is incredibly lush green, providing a serene environment. 2. There are various playing areas available, catering to different interests. 3. Convenience is key, with restaurants, daily needs shops, and even fresh milk and veggies available within the society. 4. The Club House area is exceptionally beautiful, adding to the community's charm. 5. The lifts are reliable and efficient. 6. Regular cleaning maintains cleanliness inside the buildings. 7. The parking space is vast, offering ample room for residents' vehicles.
