Subvention of 2% interest to Shishu category recipients

The shutdown was implemented last year as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. The government launched the campaign “Self-Reliant India” to re-energize the economy. It was agreed to grant a 2 percent interest subsidy to borrowers belonging to the Shishu category who applied for loans under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan Yojana.

Because of the coronavirus infection, the Reserve Bank granted authority to halt debt repayments last year. After the moratorium period has expired, all borrowers covered by the interest subvention plan will benefit from the scheme. The duration of this benefit is one year.
