The government has outlined a long-term vision for the city’s economic advancement through the Greater Noida Master Plan 2041. Approved by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) in August 2023, during its 131st board meeting, the master plan aims to establish inclusive urban communities. These communities are envisioned to provide residents with access to social and infrastructural amenities, coupled with exceptional architectural standards. Currently spanning 31,733 hectares, the GNIDA aims to augment this to 71,733 hectares by 2041. Once implemented, Greater Noida would be approximately four times the size of Noida. This comprehensive plan outlines the anticipated development of Greater Noida over the next 18 years and is designed to accommodate a projected population of about 40 lakh.
