To encourage academically-inclined students, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government provides financial assistance through the UP scholarship scheme. Starting from Class 9, students enrolled in state government and state government-aided educational institutions can apply for financial assistance under the UP scholarship scheme each year.

Step 1: Go to the UP scholarship official website.
Step 2: On the home page, you will find the following text – अपनी भुगतान की स्थिति जानने के लिए क्लिक करें (click to know the status of your payment). Click on this text.

Step 3: Enter your bank name and account number and enter the verification code visible on your computer screen.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Send OTP on registered Mobile Number’ to proceed or click on ‘Reset if you want to correct any mistakes in the details previously input’.
Step 5: The next page will show the status of your UP scholarship payment.

How to apply for the UP scholarship?

Step 2: Click on the ‘Student’ section.
Step 3: Select the ‘Registration’ option.
Step 4: Select the scholarship you want to apply for.
