What services can you get at CSC Haryana?

The government of India has started operating common service centres (CSC) in different parts of Haryana. Common service centres provide citizens with a wide variety of services, including Aadhaar Enrollment, Aadhar Card Registration, Insurance Services, Passports, E-Aadhar Letter Download and Printing, Birth and Death Certificates, and many more. 

Residents of Haryana can receive these and other services by visiting the nearest CSC centre.  The CSC offices will also assist with the applications for other services, such as pensions, ration cards, NIOS registration, and PAN cards, amongst others. CSC Haryana: What is the CSC scheme?

India’s central government initiated the Common Service centre Scheme as a component of the National E-Governance Plan Scheme. Under the umbrella of Bharat Nirman, it intends to bring G2C (government to citizen) and B2C (business to citizen) services to the doorsteps of citizens all over the country.  

Under the terms of this plan, funding has been allotted to support 100,000 Common Service centres in India’s rural regions and 10,000 CSC in the nation’s cities. The provision of e-governance services that are both of a high standard and at a low cost is a primary focus of this initiative.

 

Objectives of CSC

CSC has been implemented in PPP (Public Private Partnership) Framework. Some of the major goals of this scheme are:

• Placement of a focus on entrepreneurial endeavours in rural regions
• Providing services not just to the public sector but also to the private sector
• Particular weight is placed on the requirements of the community.
• Offering a means of living while also playing a vital part in the development of India’s rural areas
• Provides function as a mediator for a variety of governmental and non-governmental services
• A one-stop shop for a variety of G2C and B2C Services.

 

CSC Structure 

The number of centres operating under the Common Services Centre system in India’s urban and rural regions reached 5.1 million by the end of the country’s fiscal year 2022. The Public Private Partnership is based 3- on a tiered structure 

• It will be the responsibility of the State Designed Authority to manage and execute the CSC services throughout the state. 
• The Common Service Centre (CSC) will be established by the Service Centre Agency (SCA), which will also be in charge of selecting suitable sites for the CSC with the assistance of the CSC’s owner. This will play a part in promoting the CSC in rural areas via several promotion efforts that will be carried out at the state or municipal level. The SCA is responsible for the 500–1000 CSCs that will work under his supervision.
• The person in charge of the CSC is the Village Level Entrepreneur. 6 Villages will fall under him.

IV – Educational Services CSC Haryana 

Under education, the following services are provided: 

• Adult Literacy: TARA Akshar+ will provide reading, writing, speaking, and listening services via this service.
• IGNOU Services: CSC will include services such as student admissions, course catalogues, exam registration, result announcements, and more. 
• Digital Literacy: This programme would encourage ASHA and Anganwadi Workers and approved Ration Card Holders to enrol in computer courses designed to improve their IT abilities. The NABARD Financial Literacy Programme and the Investor Awareness Programme will be available. 
• NIELIT Services: Exam Form submission and printing can now be made online, in addition to online registration and payment. 
• NIOS Service: The NIOS service will promote open learning, student registration, exam fee payment, and result announcements in remote areas.

 

V – Financial Inclusion CSC Haryana

Under financial inclusion, the following services are covered:

• Banking: CSC will provide several banking services in rural regions, including Deposit, Withdrawal, Balance Enquiry, Statement of Accounts, Recurring Deposit Accounts, Overdraft, Retail Loans, General Purpose Credit Card, Kisan Credit Card, and Credit Facilities to Borrower. It has partnered with close to 42 public, commercial service sector, rural, and regional banks.
• Insurance: As an added convenience, CSC will work with Authorised Village Level Entrepreneurs to provide insurance policies to their customers (VLE). Insurance for your life, your health, your crops, your accidents, and your vehicle are just a few of the extras you may count on.
• Pension: The establishment of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Accounts, Deposit Contributions, etc., is how the National Pension System is encouraged in rural and semi-urban areas.

 

VI –  Other Services CSC Haryana

Under “other services,” the following services are provided:

• Agriculture: After the farmer has completed the registration process, they will be provided with professional guidance on obtaining weather information and soil information.
• Recruitment: Citizens are informed about openings in the Indian Navy, Indian Army, and Indian Air Force via recruitment announcements.

CSC Haryana: Eligibility criteria to open a Common Service Centre (CSC) in Haryana  

To establish a CSC (Common Service Centre) in your region, one must meet the following qualifying requirements:

• The applicant must be a resident of the area.
• They must be 18 years old.
• The candidate must have completed grade 10 or its equivalent.
• Additional Requirements
• They should be fluent in the local tongue.
• They should possess fundamental English and computer abilities. 

 

Required CSC Infrastructure must consist of the following:

• The specified room or structure must have 100-150 square feet of space.
• 2 PCs with battery backup for 5 hours or a portable generator set. The computer must have a licensed version of Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later.
