Roychak, also known as Roychak, is a blooming locality in South 24 Parganas district, near to the main city Kolkata of West Bengal. The locale lies on the banks of Hooghly River. This town had a very old fort built by the Dutch in the 18th century which was ruined after the withdrawal of the Dutch from India. After the fort was destroyed, a 5-Star Hotel named Roychak on Ganges (ROG), formerly known as Radisson Fort, was instated that is a collection of hotel, resort, spa and theme based county homes, which is very popular in Roychak.
