What should be placed in front of main door?

- Let the compass needle slowly stop moving and settle at a point.
- Turn around, without rotating the compass, until the red part of the needle perfectly aligns with the 0 or 360-degree mark on the compass.

- Entrance lock and keys: As the keys are made up of metal to balance the energies go in for wooden key chains. Opt for auspicious symbols for locks and keys. Discard them if they are rusted or broken. Use a copper lock for east, iron lock for west, brass locks for north and ‘panch dhatu’ (five metals) for south main door.
- Material: Choose superior quality wood for door, typically wood from teak wood, mahagony, oak wood, etc. Avoid using wood from coconut or peepal trees.
