Uttarpara is a small developing locality situated on the banks of Hooghly River in Kolkata, West Bengal. The pin code of Uttarpara is 700118 and postal head office is Rahara. Bengali is the native language in this region, people also speak and understand English and Hindi. Uttarpara has good connectivity to all the major areas by government buses and railways. We Care Hospital is the biggest hospital in this region with more than 15 ICU beds and is also a covid centre. Many water sports are being done on Hooghly river. Banks and ATM`s are at close proximity from this region. Schools and Colleges in Uttarpara are at a walking distance making it easy for the kids to get their education. There are trees on either side of the road making the drive enjoyable and keeping the temperature of the locality low. Grand Trunk road passes through Uttarpara and is a main road connecting to metro station. There are no water scarcity issues or load sheading problems in this region. There are many shopping options in Uttarpara ranging from shopping malls to street shopping.

Good things here

Living for the past 3 years, the area has many positive feeling. Many shops are with in easy reach for our daily needs. Schools with good quality education are provided here. The roads are in good condition which makes smoother commuting. It has many nearby small clinics for our small medical needs. The area is even safe at night, which is great option for night outing with families.

Things need improvement

While it has many clinics nearby, it lacks big hospital with modern facilities. it lacks green spaces like parks, which is disappointment. There is no metro connectivity nearby, which makes commuting not fast. Also in some area, there is need for more police patrolling. Parking problems are here due to limited parking spaces. Traffic jams are common and get used to it after some weeks.

Good things here

The Thing I love about this locality is that there so much green spaces nearby. There are pools and parks too. The locality is surrounded by cctv camera and guards. There are autos and buses easily available.There are hospital nearby. The pollution is quite low compared to other areas.

Things need improvement

One thing I don't like is there is shortage of water during the summer season and there are regular power cuts.

Good things here

A very safe & friendly place to live in. Basis necessities are very close by. A peaceful place bit away from the hussle bussle of a metro city. Public transport is available at short distance.

Things need improvement

Not to my experience. Sometimes waterlogging happens during monsoons but that is a bit at the interiors and not on the main road.

Good things here

There is no shortage of water here. The roads here are wide and good. The street lights here work well at night. The transportation facilities here are good and available all the time.

Things need improvement

Incidents of snatching are often seen here at night, due to which it is not safe at night. CCTV cameras are also not installed at many places. Police does not always patrol here.

Further, 81.88% of our total Saleable Area for completed projects were in the mid-market category and affordable housing category (with midmarket and affordable categories accounting for 48.02% and 33.86% respectively), and the remainder in the commercial and office space and luxury housing categories, as of November 30, 2018.
