Positive- A very tranquil and friendly residential environment, with all amenities within walking distance. Close to the airport. Excellent transportation options, including buses, autos, metro, rickshaws, and cabs. Every corner has a local fruit and vegetable vendor. There is a wide range of street food, bakeries, and cafes available. Negative -located in the outskirts of town, far from the city centre. Schools and colleges are far apart, which adds to commute time. Offices are also a long distance away. It is primarily a residential neighbourhood. All shopping malls are at least 4-5 kilometres away. There aren't many nice restaurants nearby.

Although it is located on the outskirts of Kolkata, it is a lovely place.

Banks, schools, metro rail, collages, and hospitals are all within a 5-kilometer radius. Buses, rickshaws, and taxis are always available at reasonable prices. The government keep the roads in good condition.

Good transportation and crime rate is low. No good school nearby. Lake town is very good residential area considering to the transportation facilities and all other necessary amenities. A number of restaurants and easy food deliveries are a plus point.
