Good things here

The area is clean and well maintained. The transportation service good in the locality. Cab, bus easily available metro station also nearby. The area is free from crime nowadays. All important schools, hospitals, malls available in the locality. The electric charges normal like other areas.read more

The area is also within the KMDA (Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority). Rajpur and Sonarpur are two towns governed by the same authority. The twin towns have been merged under the municipality. The coordinates of the area are 22.4473° N, 88.3920° E. The total area covered by the municipality is 49.26 square kilometres.
