Perungudi is one of the safest places to live in. As an office goer, I just love how the area has a good network of connectivity. The upcoming metro station will be a great relief from the traffic jams.

Perungudi is one of the best places to live in as it is located very close to the railway station which saves a lot of travel time for me. However, authorities should take care of plastic waste & air pollution in the area.
Perungudi is a residential cum commercial locality in the south Chennai area close to the sea. The neighbouring localities include Guindy, Velachery, VGP Selva Nagar and TP Nagar. These localities are well developed and have all amenities. There are reputed builders and the quality of construction in the homes is good. 80% of the property available in the Perungudi area are apartments and builder floors and 86% of these are 2 and 4 BHK apartments. 8% of the property available in the area are residential plots. The plots vary in size from 8000 to 12000 sq. feet and cost between Rs 8000 to 9000 per sq foot. Perungudi is surrounded by several IT and industrial parks and this drives the demand for housing in the area. The Chennai airport and Chennai central railway station are both 16 to 17 kms away from Perungudi and is easily accessible by road. There are presently 11 residential projects being developed in Perungudi out of which 4 are still under construction. some of the prestigious projects in Perungudi include the Casagrand Esquire, The Ace, Ramaniyam Magnum, Doshi Oriana and RAMS Ragashree Villas. There are plenty of amusement parks in the area and lots of places for family entertainment. The liveability of Perungudi is good and the only problem that exists in most of Chennai is the water crisis. Read More
