Jangpura extension locality situated in south east delhi is one of the posh locality having neighbouring colonies like greater kailash lajpat nagar defence colony and new friends colony. The street inside the colony is well maintained with proper lighting system in nights side drainage system are well covered lush green public parks inside colony for children/youngone and old adult people's for playing. Excercise and morning evening walk. In the centre of locality a mini fruits and vegetables market is situated and localities need not to go far for purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables some good branded electronic showrooms, medical shops readymade garment shops and other day to day consumer good shops are situated inside of locality. Metro connectivity is really good people had metro station 5 minutes walking distance [jangpura metro station]from where they can go to any part of Delhi in half an hour distance. Transportation of DTC buses are very good as both side of entering locality frequent service of DTC buses all over Delhi. Private taxi autoriksha is available inside and outside of locality as both taxi and autoriksha stands are within the society. Some very good public and government schools are within the locality for growing children's some reputed public school are half a hour drive away from locality like Delhi public school and GURU HARKRISHAN PUBLIC SCHOOL some very renowned hospitals are also very close to locality like Moolchand, AIIMS safdarjung and holy family hospital in case of any emergency people can rush to these hospitals in no time. Electricity and power supply is excellent here. No fear of big power cuts. Security wise also this society is excellent as there is a police chowkir within the locality and 25x7 police patrolling is on. People here feel good lush green environment as whole locality is covered with trees all around and on streetsread more

Things need improvement

There are some disadvantages of this society is that being close to mathura road and ring road frequent traffic jam hit people off society which become worse at peak hours and severe in rainy season parking issued hit this locality severely as there is no ample parking area here. Being adjacent to jalvihar slum some bad I'll legal activities like selling of liquor in black create some negativity in night times as drunker roam over streets in night inside the colony and it's not safe for a womens to walk around alone in night time one big drain [Naala] goes in the centre of locality which over flows in rainy seasons when dirty water overflows from it and come all over the streets creating un hygenic environment which is dangerous and can cause harmful diseases. Being very close to big markets like GK, LAJPAT NAGAR AND SOUTH EXTENSION some rates of goods and commodities are sky high as compared to other parts of Delhi in all together jangpura extension is a good locality to live permanently or temporarilyread more
