This locality has all the facilities that you need for comfortable living. it is well connected to the roads and the infrastructure of the buildings are very good. all the facilities are provided in this locality likes schools hospitals restaurants are available nearby at the distance of few kilometres.read more

The roads are dug at several places, so the parking space has been taken away. Other than that, there is too much traffic here. If we ignore that, then the place is very good, and all facilities are easily available.

You can experience hot and humid weather all throughout the year but the monsoon time is pleasant. Tamil and English are widely spoken here.

Being the most important locality of Chennai, Virugambakkam is a village covered by mango orchards, paddy field, casuarina trees etc. It is surrounded by several neighbourhood localities like Saligramam (1.5km), Koyambedu (2.6km), Alwarthirunagar (2.1km) along with Tamil Nadu (298.4km).
This residential area is well-connected with the heart of Chennai through roads like Arcot Road which also link other suburban areas with this village. There is also a bus route names Poonawalla-Vadapalani- Broadway and the nearby bus terminuses are Saligrammam, Chennai Moffusil Terminus and Vadapalani. All of them are at 4 km away and the CMBT Metro Rail station in 3 km away from the Village itself.
Major educational institutions like schools and colleges are located in this place. For example, St. John Matriculation Higher Secondary School (1.2km), Vani Vidyalaya School (1.7km) and among colleges there are Avichi College of Arts and Science (1.2km), Meenakshi Dental Clinic (4.1km), Meenakshi Engineering college (1.6km) etc.
