Good things here

So basically I've been living here since my childhood. Firstly , it's a great place to live , markets are nearby . There are two markets - one is main market where one can find literally everything , you name it and it's here. Mini market is where you can mostly find stationary and street vendors. There is a famous park here where one can spend great time in the library. It's peaceful and full of books. Public transit is also really good. One can easily find bus routes and autos as well. School is also there so it's good for those who've small children. Apart from that , you can definitely enjoy eating there on famous guru nanak and bn bakers shop. The former is famous for its samosa and latter for cream burgers. There are so many parks here and it's exactly located behind sector 49 chandigarh. So it's really easy to enter chd. within 5 mins. I'd definitely recommend everyone to stay in phase 10 as it's quite safe as compared to other phase in mohali.

Things need improvement

So talking about it's negatives , i think the major problem here is about safety. It's not really safe as we've witnessed many incidents of theft and misbehave here. Even vehicles are not really safe here. So one should be very careful with the parking facilities. Other than that , the silvi park here is not at all maintained. People keep throwing waste here and nobody cleans it at all. The restaurant opened in the park itself is quite expensive . They are charging exorbitantly even for a cup of tea. Other major con is that it's not recommended for pg as there are not enough pgs here and the pgs which are here are not hygienic , and are in very poor conditions. Other than that , I don't really find anything negative here. Good for big families as one can easily find rented apartments here, paying guests should look for another sector like phase 7 , 11, sector 67,68 ,70 etc as I won't recommended phase 10 to college students or working individuals.At the end, i'd say despite having some drawbacks , it's a beautiful place to live in
