Telangana, an Indian state, has the city of Nizamabad. The third-largest city in the state and a significant urban agglomeration is Nizamabad. It serves as the Nizamabad district's administrative centre and is controlled by a municipal corporation. It is located about 186 kilometres (116 mi) north of the state capital, Hyderabad. Its coordinates are 18.672°N 78.094°E. This district spreads over an area of 42.9 km2. Telugu and Urdu are the official languages of Nizamabad.
