Peenya is one of the largest industrial regions in Asia and is located within the city of Bengaluru in India. Peenya is situated on Bangalore–Tumkur Road (NH-4). There are factories of all sizes there available in the region. In the 1970s, a dedicated industrial zone was created. Peenya Industrial Area is home to many of India's most recognizable manufacturing companies. These include 3D Concept Tooling (P) Ltd., Sandur Fluid Controls Pvt Ltd., Jain Trade Center, Siddhivinayak Industries, Alfeni Metarc Ltd.Mangalam Creations, Cooltronics, BPE BioTree (P) Ltd., Kardex Remstar, Wipro Technologies, ABB, and many more. There are a few large and medium-sized factories and about 5,000 tiny ones. Since 1971–72, the Karnataka Small Industries Development Corporation (KSIDC) has worked to foster the growth of Peenya at large. Its construction entailed a pair of phases. The initial phase of the estate covers a total of 125 acres, while the latter, the 1979-established phase, covers an additional 141.50 acres. The airport is at a distance of 35 kilometres from the locality. The nearest railway station is approximately 11 kilometres from Peenya, which helps commute easily.
