This place has good connectivity and a good environment but safety is an issue. Property rates are affordable to a great extent. There are just too many traffic jams. We must occasionally consider going outside. The primary issue with this location is traffic and the availability of taxis - ola Uber, we have to wait/spend too much time waiting for it.

Byculla is a good place to live as the people living here are friendly, environment is good, and good transportation facilities available. But, the property prices are quiet high for middle-class people.

Byculla is located in central Mumbai, with the neighborhoods of Nagpada, Mumbai Central, and Mahalaxmi to the west, Agripada and Jacob Circle to the north-west, Chinchpokli and Madanpura to the north, and Reay Road and Ghodapdeo to the north-east. Within the jurisdiction of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Byculla is part of Ward "E." Byculla was an outgrowth of the island of Mazagaon, which was one of the seven that eventually merged to form Mumbai in the late 18th century. It was low-lying Flats that were flooded by the Great Breach at Mahalaxmi at high tide. However, in 1784, the Hornby Vellard project successfully sealed the gap, effectively merging Bombay's seven islands into a single island. Real estate prices in Byculla, as in the rest of Mumbai, have risen dramatically in recent years.
